Managing pastureland comes with its own set of challenges, especially when dealing with extreme weather conditions. One of our valued customers recently shared their experience using RanchWorx® pasture aerators, providing a remarkable glimpse into the effectiveness of this innovative tool.
After just the first pass of the aerator, the results were immediate and impressive. According to the customer, “on the side of the fence where the aerator had been used, standing water quickly vanished, absorbed into the soil efficiently. On the untreated side, however, water pooled and remained stagnant for several days.” This clearly illustrates the aerator’s powerful ability to enhance soil permeability, significantly reducing water runoff and promoting water absorption.
The property, spanning around 400 acres, provided an excellent test case, showcasing diverse soil types—from sandy soil at the east end to heavy clay on the west. The customer explained, “Historically, during dry summers, the heavier clay soils struggled immensely, producing little to no grass growth. But after using the RanchWorx aerator, it just amazed me how the grass came right back out, really thriving and growing well.”
